The company is associated with the Ethos Institute, an entity which aims to aid companies to assimilate the concept of business social responsibility and incorporate it in the daily activities of management. Every year a multidisciplinary group answers the questionnaire of the Ethos Indicators, a tool of learning and evaluation of the management as regards the incorporation of the practices of business social responsibility in the strategic planning and monitoring and general performance of the company.
 
Dudalina makes available, yearly, the balance of the company’s actions, with information about the projects, benefits and social actions directed at all the groups of the public with which the company relates. Access here the Social Balance of 2008.
 

The company shows its support and effort in developing practices of corporate social responsibility, signing business agreements.

- Global Compact: since 2006, Dudalina has subscribed to this initiative developed by the United Nations Organization (UNO), of which the objective is to mobilize the international business community to adopt fundamental values accepted internationally in the areas of human rights, labor relations, the environment and fighting corruption. - Agreement against the Exploitation of Children and Adolescents on Brazilian Roads: Dudalina helps to transmit this initiative of Childhood Brasil which aims to mobilize governments, companies and organizations of the third sector as regards the more efficacious fighting of the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents on Brazilian roads. - Agreement for Integrity and Against Corruption: a set of directives and procedures of conduct to be adopted by companies concerning the relationship with public powers. Learn more: www.empresalimpa.org.br

- National Agreement for the Eradication of Slave Labor: an initiative which aims to implement tools so that the business sector and Brazilian society do not sell products of vendors that use slave labor. Learn more: www.reporterbrasil.org.br/pacto

 

In 2000, the United Nations Organization (UNO), upon analyzing the greatest global problems, established the 8 Objectives of the Millennium. The commitment of making the world more united and fairer by 2015 was assumed by leaders of 191 nations.

From 2007 onwards, the company has  implemented the Code of Ethics in all its units. It is a set of directives which guide the internal public to adopt responsible behavior compatible with the company’s values, encouraging each one to make the right choices in conducting Dudalina’s business. The Ethics Committee, a group composed of collaborators, is responsible for updating the code and also for maintaining the communication channels (urn, email, telephone) through which the collaborators can get in touch, remove queries, give suggestions, etc.
